A landslide at a small gold mine in Indonesia has left a minimum of 12 individuals lifeless and dozens extra lacking, in response to the Nationwide Catastrophe Mitigation Company.
Heavy rains since Saturday triggered the disaster within the Gorontalo province on the island of Sulawesi, the company stated in a press release on Monday. Search and rescue operations are ongoing, with greater than 40 individuals nonetheless unaccounted for, it stated.
